In collaboration with the folks at Nourished Communities, we’ll be hosting a communal salad making workshop at their food festival this summer.
Shu’s going to teach you how to make a simple but banging Sambal Kacang (peanut sauce). It’s good with everything, but we’re going to use it to make Gado Gado, a beautifully crisp, sweet and nutty Indonesian salad. And we’re going to make it TOGETHER. Yes, it’s going to be a fun half hour of communal salad making and eating with your mates/ strangers.

COMMUNAL GADO GADO SALAD MAKING WORKSHOP

Where: Big Penny Social, 1 Priestley Way, London E17 6AL
What you get: A short workshop with Shu + the best salad for lunch + a jar of our Red Hot Sambal Tumis (so really, it’s just to cover the cost of our ingredients!)

Please note there’s an additional £3 entry fee to the festival - which brings together 100+ independent producers, as well as talks and workshops on everything from kefir making to fermenting to cheese tasting.
